Psychological Fees and Rebates

Fees

The Australian Psychological Society suggests a fee of $311 (2024-2025 financial year) per 46-60 minute Psychological consult. Please find below our list of fees which are under the recommended rate.

Counselling (50 minutes)

$260 for clinic based, paddock based or telehealth appointments.

Out of hours Counselling Sessions
(50 minutes)

$280 for clinic based, paddock based or telehealth appointments (After 5pm, weekends and public holidays)

Outreach counselling

Includes home visits, day care or school visits or counselling at an alternative location from the Earth, Mind and Body Psychology clinic. Please contact for an accurate quote based on you location and time required.

Group Sessions
(60-90 minutes)

$125 per session (maximum of 10 participants)

Clinical supervision (50 minutes)

$260

Letter writing fee

There are fees associated with writing support letters to agencies other than your GP or psychiatrist for Medicare related correspondence.

Rebates

At Earth, Mind and Body Psychology we strive to keep our costs affordable so all families can access support. As well as offering private sessions, we can subsidise treatment under the following funding streams:

Better Access Initiative- Mental Health Care Plans from GPs. This enables you to obtain up to 10 sessions per calendar year when you see a psychologist.
Non-directive Pregnancy Counselling Support. Referral required from your General Practitioner. Enables up to 3 (30 minute) non-directive pregnancy counselling sessions per pregnancy. It is available to people who are pregnant or have been pregnant in the last 12 months
Private Health Insurance. Rebates vary from insurer to insurer and are dependent on the level of cover you have. You can either use our HICAPS function to recieve an immediate quote or refund or; you can take our invoice to your insurer to obtain your rebate.
NDIS. We welcome children with self managed or plan managed NDIS funding to see our psychologists.
