Dr. Nikki de Bondt is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in adult, child and youth mental health, as well as in private practice. With a strong passion for the natural world, she offers clients a unique therapeutic experience, particularly for those who find traditional, room-based "talk" therapies limiting. Nikki practices from an attachment, developmental, and trauma-informed perspective, integrating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, CBT-E, DBT, narrative therapy, play therapy, and Circle of Security. Additionally, if it is clinically appropriate, Nikki also incorporates the EPI's model of equine assisted psychology.
Nikki is deeply committed to supporting perinatal clients, children, and families, understanding the critical challenges during these formative periods. She has extensive experience working with individuals facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, birth trauma, infant loss, post natal depression and anxiety, substance misuse, eating disorders and difficulties with emotion regulation.
