What if my child or I are unwell? We understand that it can be challenging when your child or yourself falls ill and that it may be beyond your control. However, as a child and family clinic, we frequently receive cancellation requests due to illness. If either you or your child is unwell, we encourage you to keep your appointment and participate in a parent-only online session with your clinician. Effective parenting is a key component of therapy, making these sessions essential. Alternatively, you may ask your clinician to use the time to prepare a letter or a handout for you. Please be aware that we will maintain our cancellation policy, as this time has been specifically reserved for you and your child.
